Ringing in

 This is one of my all time favorite things to wear all in one outfit, my denim vest is in the process of being redone, but I still wear it in the mean time. I'm thinking of posting some of the rad gifts I received for Christmas, just because I am very excited about them. New Years seems like every other day some years, but since it's my graduation year it holds prospects of new things for my life, so I was more enthused with the festivities. 2011 was not a bad year at all, but I'm am looking forward to 2012, I hope the first days of the new year have been great, I know it's been pretty good so far for myself.

The changing of tides

My sweet mother brought home this sea foam green blazer with pink lining from Stein Mart for me one day and I have yet to find a day to wear it until now, it was nice enough for shorts (F21) but just getting more breezy and cold for this blazer, I paired it with some knee highs and oxfords and was set, I'm glad my mother knows my taste! The weather has turned from mild-fall-winter to full on winter, which is awesome cause this is my favorite time of the year. These pictures are from about two weeks ago, so no more shorts, unless with tights, which are one of the biggest reasons I love this season. So, this post is a little late, but oh well, haha. 

I also went to the fair, and in typical fair style, I decided to sport some overalls, I thought it was fitting for the occasion. I got a job as well! At Starbucks! I've been there for about two or so months now at least, and as far as jobs go, it's awesome, apart from some rude people, but that was something I knew would happen, so it's not so bad. Things in life are changing so quickly, I should be getting my first college letter very soon, and I'm so ready, I can't wait to be going on to the next thing. And! Christmas is only 10 days away! I hope the holidays are good for all of you, cause I'm about to go decorate my badass tree and ornate my room with christmas lights.

I thought I'd give a shot at an outfit post! This is from the first week of school, there's not really a big story behind it, school is school, it's only a bit more special now because I'm a senior. But besides that, I just went simple since it was still pretty hot outside and well, because I can't resist my suspender fetish.

Anyway, if this post has some positive feedback, then I will defiantly make it a routine thing, cause it's kind of fun actually.

Right in the Mint of time

I am so infrequent about how I update this, but I figured I mine as well start again regardless. So today, I put this rad minted/sea foam green color on my nails today after a long awaiting of growing them out. I've actually had this for a long time, I loved it the first time I saw so many wearing it, I just could never find it, but when I did, I put it on immediately. But see, the thing is, I hate having nail polish on when my nails are bitten off because of my gross habit, so I always chip it off so soon when my nails are down to nothing, even if I really love the color. But I've been really persistent lately about my habit because, in all honesty, I love this color so much and I've been dying to properly wear it, so finally I've been able to put it on with happiness and show it off, more to myself than anyone else really though, haha.

In other news! I finished putting my excess studs onto my chucks! I am very excited, I tried them out this week to see how the studs would feel while wearing them all day and they held up great actually, and didn't cause me any hassle or, well, pain. I've been meaning to finish them for a while now, so now I need to tackle my ever so piling up of a project denim vest, and once that's done, I will be satisfied, at least for that moment of course.

And for the most part, that's been my exciting adventures, we just started a new semester in school, and I've been stormed with work already, though I can't complain because I love when we start a new semester, new classes can be the best, especially English. Well, tomorrow I might swing by Goodwill after school with my cutesy boy to find some treasures. And then next weekend I totally forgot, I'm going to see my brother and he lives around some really nice places to shop, so I've been saving some for that. Saving at least besides well, my Doc Martens, which are said to be shipped tomorrow, so hopefully they will arrive during next week, I can't wait, this has been like a childhood dream to own a pair. I bought a floral pair and I plan on finding some awesome shoe laces for them, either way, I'll be posting a picture of those and maybe some clothes and treasures I find tomorrow or next weekend. I also have a list of some spring/summer things I've been wanting, so maybe when I finalize that and post it, it just depends.

I know all of these ideas and thoughts are running together like ridiculously, but this is what happens when I never blog. I'm really wanting to start some outfit posts and see how other people like them, I am hoping to do that soon, I just get so tired and want to get straight into sweats when I get home so alas, I never capture what I'm actually wearing that day. But if I stay persistent, I'll get one up to get some ideas and opinions!

Oh, tomorrow was supposed to be my day off of school but since it snowed, that means Saturday school, which no matter how much I try and forget about it, still sucks, but, sigh, that's life I suppose!
